Will the V6 II work with the Godox AD360 for Nikon with the fujifilm X-T1 ?

Hello gentlemen,

I own 2 Nikon bodies (D600 and D90) and one Fuji Body the X-T1

I feel like to have the best of both worlds Nikon and Fuji

I was wondering if the Cactus V6 II will work with the GODOX AD360 II  for Nikon and the fuji X-T1 ?

Many thanks for your response

  • We have only tested the Canon version, AD360IIC and it worked. So we are not sure about the Nikon version.

I wonder if others have tried it?

TTL or HSS not working on Cactus V6 II and V6 IIs? Be sure to check hot shoe connectivity by doing the <CAMERA INFO> check.

  • Dear antonio can you tell me how the set up ? Does it work with ad360 mark 1?

  • AD360 Mark 1 does not support HSS so it won't work with the Cactus V6 II, if doing high-speed sync is what you are after.

  • AD360 Mark 1 does not support HSS ...
One can activate HSS manually on an AD360 MK I. So while remote power control won't be possible with a V6II, HSS triggering should be fine.

so if i put the ad360 mk 1 physically to hss mode, that's all that is needed for hss to work? cuz i know the cheap triggers that came with the ad360 does not seem to get hss so i thought some other info needed to get passed to the flash
  • There is no need to get any additional info to the flash, but the trigger timing has to be right.

The V6II provides that timing and I'm sure if you search a bit, you'll find others confirming that they got the V6II to work with the AD360 Mk I.

    Oh it does!?

I thought it's only on AD360 Mark II where there's a non-TTL version that still offers HSS option.

@dale0610, maybe you can try confirming this with Godox.
