Two Flashes on one V6

Is there any chance it would be possible to ever control two flashguns via one V6 in the future? I was wondering if it would be possible to design an adapter or a fancy cable that could connect two flashguns together but still allow control via one V6. The reason i ask is because I often need the power of two or more flashguns but mounting multiple flashguns each with a V6 makes the complete unit heavy and unwieldy on the top of the stand. Any ideas gratefully appreciated.

  • You could use a TTL splitter cable as long as it supports all the modern TTL contacts for your flash system.

Only use the same flash model twice, though, or make sure the trigger voltage of the two flashes is very similar. I understand it is not advisable to allow a voltage differential to occur.
  • Why not use two RF60 flashlights, built in receivers with all the features of a separate V6. Set them up in the same group, control your power and away you go.

    That's a good suggestion, @Donald!  Thanks man.

@PaulSaxby, maybe that's not a bad idea for your off-camera units.
The radio built-in RF60 no longer need to mount on an external transceiver / receiver. Plus, you can mount the flash units directly on a cold shoe or tripod mount.

  • Thanks for the suggestion but I already own numerous flashguns, I just need a convenient way of connecting two or more together so they work from one transceiver.
I have ordered a TTL splitter cable (£12 from eBay) I will let you know how I get on with it.
    Many thanks,
