Trigger PhotoFlex Strobe 650 - uses 1/4" phone jack

Is there a method to plug in some cable adapter that will plug in to a PhotoFlex Strobe 659 that has a 1/4" phone jack receiver and have it trigger the flash remotely - AND - if possible control the intensity output ?

Comments

  • You won't be able to control the strobe intensity, but if you connect the V6 receiver with the strobe with a respective cable then you will be able to trigger the strobe with a V6 remotely.
  • Is Cactus working on making the PhotoFlex Strobe 659 interfaced with the Cactus V6 so intensity can be controlled wirelessly remotely?
  • Strobes generally don't have an input that allows third-party control of the power output, so the answer is an almost certain no.
  • Hi Bob,
Is Cactus working on making the PhotoFlex Strobe 659 interfaced with the Cactus V6 so intensity can be controlled wirelessly remotely?
No, we are not working on one.
