Triggering flash in Softbox with Olympus OMD-1 and FL-50R Flash

What advise can you give me for triggering my FL-50R flash in a Softbox? I assume that I can only do this manually, so what should be my settings on the OMD and on the flash, and do I adjust the intensity of the flash with the transmitter attached to the hot shot on the camera. I am new at this so was wondering if you could give me some settings to start off with.

    Have a V6 on the camera set to TX mode. The shutter speed should be 1/320 or less (the max sync speed). I prefer having the camera in manual mode.

    Put the FL-50R on top of a second V6, set to RX mode. Make sure you select the FL-50R from the supported flash list on the V6.

    If you are working within 50 feet of the receiving V6, set the Working Distance to Short.

    That's pretty much all there is to it.
