Installing Cactus Firmware Updater & Updating Cactus devices on Windows 10 PC

Before installing the Updater and or connecting your Cactus device, you will need to disable the Signed Driver Enforcement (also known as digital signature) on your Windows 10.

Follow the steps below:
  1. Press Windows key on your keyboard .
  2. Go to Setting >> Updater & Security >> Recovery >> Advanced Startup (computer will restart here)
  3. After restarting Windows, click Troubleshoot.
  4. Click Advanced Options.
  5. Click Windows Startup Settings.
  6. Click Restart.
  7. After restarting your computer a second time, choose Disable Driver Signature Enforcement from the list by typing the number 7 on your keyboard (your computer will restart automatically).
  8. After restarting, you will be able to install the Cactus Firmware Updater normally. During installation Windows will display a warning message, click Install this driver software anyway.
Tips: The next time you restart your computer, the Driver Signature Enforcement will be in effect again. You will have to repeat this process for updating any new Cactus devices. If you wish to update devices with the same computer, we recommend installing the drivers for each one before you shut down or restart your computer.
