LV5 problems with samsung camera

Hello!I have a problems with samsung nx 1000 camera and lv5 laser trigger. As a remote i use yongnuo 603 connected via 3,5 jack of lv5 to pc sync of yn 603 and on camera i use 603 connected via 2,5 jack to micro usb of the camera port.
At first, i thoght that 603 is the veak link ,but when i used it as a remote it works.I think that signal from lv5 doesn't transfer wirelessly to camera. What do  i need to do?

The RF603 cannot be used as an off-camera trigger unless it is modified, as it does not switch to TX mode unless it senses a camera.

When you test fire the RF603 connected to the LV5 in your setup, the camera will not take a photo.

An easy solution for your problem would be to get one Cactus V5 and connect it to the camera with a shutter release cable. The LV5 can trigger a V5 wirelessly.
  • Ok! What cable do i need to connect the v5 to camera ? V5 has a 3.5 jack and camera has micro usb .And one last question how i can trigger strobes  using 603 and v5 mounted on a hot-shoe of the camera
  • @gera ; Sorry at the moment we don't have such a cable, however you may find them from other manufactueres. We will also try to source the right cable in the meantime.

    LV5 > V5 (RX) > shutter cable > camera shutter jack
Camera hot shoe > 603 Transmitter > 603 Receiver > flash mounted on hot shoe / sync port

    Hope this helps!
