Thank you for the report. We have studied your case and prepared an internal development firmware version 1.0.184 to resolve the problem with SB-800 on V6. Hopefully, it will correct the problem which found unstable in V1.0.175. I have sent you a link to download the firmware in your INBOX. I wish you have time to give it a try.
Cheers!
I wanted to follow up here and let readers know that firmware version 1.0.184 does indeed seem to have fixed the problem when using an SB-800 on a V6 in Rx mode. Thanks for the quick attention and solution!
Dan
Awesome! I am happy to hear that.

In your case you'd need two more V6 in order to control both of your flashes at the same time.
I haven't read the product description by Cactus in a long while but I hope they make that clear.
P.S.: You also need to make sure that you have the "for Canon" version of the YN-568 EX because the Nikon version is not supported.
I am truly disappointed with this. And no one is going to give my money back because this is dealing with China.
Bullshit.
Where do they say that you need to spent another 120 bucks on two more V6?
From the product description at the GadgetInfinity store website:
I am truly disappointed with this. And no one is going to give my money back because this is dealing with China.
They may not be able to take the V6 back because it is working as described, but perhaps you can find a solution after all.
Maybe you can try Metz 36AF-5 for Nikon in V6. I heard people found success with that profile for Metz 64 AF-1.

I have a Meike 430; I expect that this flash will work with the Canon 430 profile?
I also have a "vintage" Vivitar 636AF which was originally used with a Minolta 7000. The flash is ttl dedicated but can only be set to 2 different levels manually. Any chance of profiling this flash or use any of the existing profiles?
Jta
As for the Vivitar 636AF, since it was for a Minolta then it should not work because at the moment the V6 only supports: Canon, Nikon, Panasonic, Olympus and Pentax TTL flashes.
Thank you.

Mharda, I use Metz AF58-1 with Pentax and they learnt the profile first time and continue to work perfectly.
I've added the Metz AF58-1 to the list (first post).
@Mharda: Once you profiled your 58 AF-1 (see the manual), you'll be able to use it as if it had been supported with a predefined profile.
Thanks!

There is no P-TTL support, except for a flash mounted on an on-camera V6, but manual power level control via radio is available for a large variety of flashes from different manufacturers.
