Better Flash Stand with tripod mount

To facilitate connecting the V6 (and Flash) better to a tripod, it might be good to have a tripod mount in the flash stand as well.
This is also done by many flash manufacturers. I am currently using the Nikon AS-19 for this purpose.

    +1 because the V6's tripod mount does not work well with many tripod plates.

    +1 - Been trying to use it with a gorilla pod for mounting in trees, and the tripod mount is too close to the hot shoe

    I agree. I've only recently bought two V6iis units. The above comments were made a year ago, one has to question why the point has not been addressed. I have flashes by Metz, Sigma, and Neewer, and even the Neewer stand has a tripod bush in it. I have had the Sigma gun for 13 years, and the stand is designed for both standard hot shoes and the old Minolta Dynax / Sony Alpha shoe.
