Profile Selection Please Help!!!

edited October 2014 in RF60 Questions
What is the correct profile to choose on the V6 transceiver when using the RF60 Flash.  There is no profile listed for it.

  • Rest assured! The RF60 has built-in wireless feature that compatible with the V6. You don't need to select profile on the V6 unit.

FYI, to activate the remote control of the RF60, switch the RF60 in S mode and assign one of the group. On the V6 Tx unit, just select the group regard to the RF60.

The V6 is capable to remote ZOOM control with RF60. To enable this feature, select SWAP CONTROL to ZOOM (CACTUS) in the V6 SUB-MENU.

    All the best!

  • Help please, I want to control my flash zoom.

I don't have the SWAP CONTROL menu.

All the other sub-menu items are there.

    Thanks!

What firmware version are you running?

Below is taken from Sigma's X-TTL firmware Quick Start Guide.

    Hope this helps.

To help us better help you, always state the exact firmware version installed on your Cactus device(s), such as: "1.1.013", "NIK.A.001", "v.103", or "A06".

TTL or HSS not working on Cactus V6 II and V6 IIs? Be sure to check hot shoe connectivity by doing the <CAMERA INFO> check.

Make sure to switch on your V6 in "TX" mode. Then you should see the SWAP CONTROL item in the SUB-MENU.
