Pentax 645z triggers Elinchrom quadra Pro head only once in HSS

My Pentax 645z with V6II and the latest Pentax firmware triggers my Elinchrom Quadra hybrid (with a Pro head and a V6II with sync cable) only once in HSS mode when I go beyond the sync speed. The next frame I shoot the flash doesn't fire. I have to push a button on the V6ii or mess about in the menu to get the flash to fire again. No problem when I use the sync speed, the camera triggers the flash frame after frame.
Any idea how to solve this?

How about the V62.A.xxx version? Does the multi-brand firmware works (assumed that both TX and RX installed)?

I tried both the Pentax firmware and the latest V62.XXX firmware, and a combination of the two on both the tx and the rx. Same problem exists. Only way to have the camera trigger my Quadra every time is by putting a skyport trigger on top of the V6II.

It is strange. Unfortunately we do not have a Quadra for test. The skyport add-on seems to be the only workaround at the moment.

You don't need a Quadra. I use Broncolor. You just need something you can trigger using a cable from the receiver and you'll see the problem.

Yes you are correct. We have tested the scenario once more and found that there is a bug on the PEN.A.005. For usage with studio flash connected via the 3.5mm port, please use PEN.A.004 instead. The PEN.A.004 is available for download on the Cactus Firmware Updater.

Do you actually plan to fix this, rather than just to recommend an earlier firmware? There hasn't been a firmware update in quite some time now.

We have no plan to make further updates at the moment. Sorry about that.

Resurrecting this, since this problem hasn't gone away and it feels like you've abandoned the V6 II line now since there have been zero firmware updates.

PEN.A.004 has issues that are solved by going to PEN.A.005, and PEN.A.005 has different issues that are only solved by reverting to PEN.A.004, so there isn't a single firmware that's good for Pentax users.

When are you going to fix this?

Have you tried to use the multi-brand firmware?

It also supports HSS for Pentax (but no TTL).
