Using non-Sony Cactus on Sony

I have a Cactus V6II and a couple of the RF60x flashes, configured for Pentax.

I have tried these on my Sony e-mount camera, and it seems to work fine in manual mode, which is my main use case (didn't try other settings like HSS and multi-flash etc).

Is there any reason not to use the non-Sony version with a Sony camera? What will be the limitations?

    You won't get HSS which will limit your shutter speeds to not exceed the sync-speed.

    You won't get TTL either which means you'll have to use manual flash power control (which is preferable anyhow, AFAIC).

    Otherwise, it will work fine.
