Shutter Release Cable Adaptors - Canon T6i

Hi, I recently purchased 4 V5's. I have one on my hot shoe, and it's firing to my off-camera flash just fine. But the sync port doesn't fit any of my shutter release cables for the Canon T6i. I would love to release this shutter remotely using the V5. I can't find any adaptors that go from 3.5mm to the Canon 2.5mm Sub-mini. Any ideas greatly appreciated
