RF60 and HSS

Hello,
I have an Nikon d850 with a RF60 and cannot get HSS to work in the Hotshoe.

I have a V6 trigger and realize it doesn't support HSS, but can't I use HSS in the hotshoe of my camera, or do I have to buy a V6 II to get it to work?

    Cactus V6 (first generation) doesn't work in HSS.

    To use HSS, please use Cactus V6 II.
