Inconsistent flas output using Canon 580 ex 11
I am using a v611 as a receiver on a Canon 580 ex 11. with a Canon Eos 5d mk 1v and a Cactus v611 transmitter. Flash output is very inconsistent and can vary by as much as 3 stops. I have measured with a sekonic flash meter. I also get occasional missed flashes. I have also triggerd the flash from the receiver and still get inconsistent results, so think I can rule out any poor connection between camera and transmitter.
Has anybody got any ideas how to solve this? please. I also use a Catus RF60 flsah with the same set up and output is consistent.
