Multi Master

Though the V6 version 1 is an older model, would it be at all possible to add a "multi master" option like there is on the v6 ii for using multiple cameras with the same flashes? This is one thing that makes these a little tricky to use at weddings and two cameras.

  • @Marekkphotography Thank you for the suggestion. However, I'm afraid that based on the existing V6 architecture, it's not possible to add "multi master". That's why we developed V6 II.

  • I read through a few of the older threads about others with this suggestion. I understand that it's not possible now due to the reasons stated in the thread, but what about just having to hit the test flash button to send all power/group information when switching the camera/tx you are using?

I do also have v6 ii's and it's great to have multi-master there, but the hard wired pass through hotshoe on the v1's let me merge flash systems in a way that I can't with the v6 ii's.

A workaround that should accomplish what you want to achieve is to move the dial on the V6 one step forward and backward (or the other way round).

Technically two steps but might be even quicker than pressing the test button.
