V6 not communicating with v5

I recently upgraded the firmware of my V6 to version v61.a.002, now its not communicating with my V5's. My V6's used to trigger these devices before i upgraded them but now it no longer does. What could be the problem? please help

    The A version firmware of the V6 doesn't support. The need to use the legacy firmware version of the V6, which is V2.1.001 to work with V5.
