Hi guys just bought a cactus v6 want to know if Nikon sb-80dx works?.

If so where do I get the profile?

Reading the thread I'm confused if my flash works or not with v6, thank you.

Yes, the Nikon SB-80DX is supported by the V6.

You need to perform the profile creation yourself, using the profile learning functionality of the V6. Have a look at the manual, it is really easy to do. Just make sure to use batteries that are not close to depletion yet.

Whenever I try to get the flash to learn into learning mode it says my flash is not supported

What firmware are you running on your V6?

Make sure it is 1.1.019 or 2.1.001.

To check, hold down group buttons A and D, and switch on the V6 II (either TX or RX works).

Also put on freshly charged AA batteries in your flash before proceeding to Flash Profile Learning.

1. What do you see on V6's display?
   
2. What type of batteries are you using?
   
3. Are you able to hear the flash capacitor charging?
   
4. Is the flash aimed towards a white wall?
   
5. Is the flash placed 1m from the white wall?
   
6. Is the flash in TTL mode?
