Firmware version A01 on RF60 / RF60X only works with PEN.A.001 (For now)

Dear V6 IIs users,

Please only update the firmware on your RF60 and RF60X to version A01 if you intend to have trigger your flashes with a V6 II running on PEN.A.001 (Pentax X-TTL firmware), mounted on a Pentax camera. 

A01 installed on RF60/RF60X will not work with V6 IIs running on SON.1.xxx.

In the near future, we will release an "A" firmware version: SON.A.xxx

FYI the "A" stands for the new protocol which we started implementing since the release of the Pentax X-TTL firmware  (PEN.A.001) for better wireless performance.

So if you are shooting on a Sony only, please keep using these firmware versions:

RF60:  version 205

RF60X: version 103

FYI, with the release of the X-TTL firmware for Olympus and Panasonic (M43), there's also a new firmware for RF60/RF60X as version A02. 

The same compatibility rules apply with FUJ.1.-, SIG.1.- and SON.1.- firmware versions.
