Cannot trigger a flash remotely

I am using a setup with a Metz 64 AF-1 flash and a Metz 52 AF-1 both on a Cactus V66IIs and a Cactus RF60X. All with a Sony a99II with a V6IIs mounted. Suddenly I cannot fire the Metz flashes neither when pressing the test button or when pressing the shutter button.

All have been recently upgraded to the most recent firmware and I have tried to reset/initialize the triggers and flashes to factory default with no luck. 

Anyone having experienced the same problem?

Hmm, weird.

Please, can you tell us exactly which Firmware version are you using on the Cactus V6IIS.

Just to be clear, is the issue only happens with the Metz flashes but the RF60X is OK?

In the meantime, you can check if the Working range of the V6IIS are in "Short".

Also, ensure that all units are on the same Channel, Radio ID and you have active the Group where the RX V6IIS are.

At this time I am using the ILCA-77M2 and the RX1 and all works flawless.

Maybe before the year ends I will upgrade to the ILCA-99M2.

The firmware version is 1.1.003 on all units, which are all set to the same channel and radio ID. The setup used to work flawless until yesterday, when suddenly I cannot fire the Metz flashes. The Cactus flash can be remotely fired with no problems. I have tried both with only the specific group selected and keeping all groups selected with same result. I have both the ILCA-77M2 and ILCA-99M2 and have used the setup with them both successfully. Love the 99M2!

Hi @flundsten, please update to the latest Sony X-TTL firmware!

If you don't see it, be sure you have the newest Cactus Firmware Updater.

The firmware name is SON.1.xxx.
