V6 IIs to trigger older V6 units?

Just so we are clear:
I do not need TTL functionality at all!

I simply want to be able to use the Power Sync function with my old manual Vivitar flashes.

Can I use the V6 IIs to trigger older V6 units, which themselves will be connected to old manual flashes/monolights?

    Yes, you just need to update the firmware on the V6 units to the latest version available.
