Compatibility with new GODOX TT350o speedlight

Hi,

Godox announced a new speedlight for m4/3 (Panasonic/Olympus). Will this speedlight be operational with the V6ii transceivers? Especially the HSS function?

Kind regards
Philippos

  • So, no one from customer service has any idea on this?

  • Hi Philippos,

No, we haven't tested this particular model.

Judging it's made for M43, it's likely to be compatible.

But it's hard to say for sure because you just don't know how much of the original TTL protocol they include.

    Thanks!

TTL or HSS not working on Cactus V6 II and V6 IIs? Be sure to check hot shoe connectivity by doing the <CAMERA INFO> check.

Please tell us whether the TT250 HSS works fine with V6II. That would be a great help.

  • Hello.
I'm not sure, but it seems that the TT350o will not work with the Cactus transceiver due to different modulation. Although Godox X has the same 2.4 GHz frequency as Cactus, it has a different modulation (keying) of the signal. Cactus has FSK (frequency shift keying), Godox has MSK (minimum (frequency) shift keying). So Godox TT350o simply "will not see" the Cactus and vice versa.
