Unable to copy learned profile from one V6 to another

Firmware 2.1.001
I successfully got the V6 to learn a custom profile for an old Sunpak 444D.
Then I tried to copy that learned profile to my other V6s.
Set up the first V6 to transmit and went through the menu to <COPY FLASH SETUP>, then <START>, then <SET RX TO COPY PROFILE>
Set up the other V6s to receive and went through the menu to <FLASH SETUP>, <COPY PROFILE> then <WAITING FOR TX>
Went back to the first V6 and pressed ok for <GO>.
The transmit V6 screen flashes "sending..." then "complete" (or something like that)
The receive V6 just sits there showing "Waiting for TX" without changing then indicates a timeout.
I tried this with multiple receive V6s, with a single receive V6, with the units within 10 cm of each other, with the units about 2 meters apart. No success.
I then got a second V6 to learn the profile of the Sunpak 444D flash with success. Used it as the transmitter to copy to the remaining V6s and still no success.

Is this a problem with the new firmware? I have successfully copied learned profiles before.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Ah... yes indeed. I think a few weeks ago we discovered the same bug. It will be fixed in the next firmware. I will try and ask R&D to release it sooner - once they have done the internal tests.

    By the way, no rush on this. I can always just go through the creation of custom profiles on the other 2 V6s. (Need to put fresh batteries into the flash. :-)  )

    Good prep!  Indeed put in freshly charged batteries for the learning process.

    Despite we spaced out the triggering times between each power levels it may still strain on certain flash models.

    Anyway I hope we will release the next firmware version soon. Thank you!

    I upgraded to 2.1.001 and could not copy learned profiles. So I downgraded back to the previous version. It's been over a year since this problem was reported. Are you going to fix it? It seems not, and that is a shame.
