V5 Sony a6500 delay ?

Hi, I got  cactus v5 with sony a6500. One cactus connected with proper usb cactus adapter on sony camera and the other one in rx mode with a canon speedlight.

When I shoot, everything seems to works fine, communication between cactus is working and the flash flashes. But the synch seems not right because I cant see the light from flash on picture taken. Just a regular photo with no flash at all even if everything triggers. Seems like there is a delay between camera and flash.

I used the same setup on sony rx 100 IV, it works just fine.

I used it also on canon 5d mk II , without cable, its working fine too.

Is there something I m missing here or is it just not compatible ?

What was the shutter speed on the A6500 when you took those shots?
Try a slower speed, say 1/100s or 1/60s?

And the Canon speedlight was set to M mode?
