to all SIGMA flashgun users - demand support for 610 and 140
i want to make a call to all SIGMA flashgun users to demand support from Cactus for the most common Sigma flashes... like 610/610Super and 140 Ringflash.
Those flashes are both so powerful and capable, i dont want to sell any of them.
AND!:
There could be more predefined profiles for those Sigma Flashes for each System...
C'mon people and join. Lets see some "+1" here.
thank you.

FYI we tested SIGMA's Canon versions, EF-610 DG ST and DG SUPER, it seems that their TTL protocols are missing some information so they do not function normally as other Canon flashes.
Not sure about the 140 RIng flash though as we don't have one to try.
If you haven't already, maybe you cross-post link to this post on other forums that talks about SIGMA to draw more people's attention.

The Sigma flashes are also P-TTL...
I already have a small studio and it would be cool if, i wouldnt have to manually adjust this sigma flash i use instead of a jinbei studio fl.(because it almost brings the same power as a 400Ws studio flash) EVERY TIME...
I use Pentax flashes for background and striplight but the big octabox needs big power...
So i am bent to use the Sigmas(i have 2 of them) as replacement for big studiolights because they are more affordable and more portable than 2 big 400Ws lights, that cost 2-3 times as much...
Thats the reason why i bought the Cactus V6 transceivers in first place...
Are there any experiences on compatibility of the 64 AF-1 and 76 AF-1 PENTAX versions from Metz with either Cactus V6 or Cactus V6II? How is it with the new Canon and Nikon SIGMA 630 DG Super?
However we do have a few Metz P-TTL units that works with the Cactus V6 II. I think it's better to go with the newer V6 II instead of the original V6. As most (if not all) recently released flash models run purely on digital TTL protocols, namely, 44 AF-1, 50 AF-1 and 64 AF-1.
A quick note is that, V6 II's auto-detect do not work on Metz flashes, you'll need to manually choose PENTAX for the flash system and you are good to go.
