The last remaining X-TTL firmware version for Canon is now available. Download the FREE firmware upgrade on the V6 II to have wireless E-TTL, cross-brand HSS, as well as power and zoom control. Since the Pentax X-TTL firmware release, a new wireless protocol is in place so be sure to also update the firmware on Cactus RF60 and RF60X to work seamlessly with the Canon X-TTL firmware. The new firmware is easily identified by a letter “A” in the firmware name.

New Firmware 1.0.173 Released for the V6!
Updates on version 1.0.173 include:
- Flash power output re-calibrated for Nikon SB-910, SB-900, SB-700.
- Lock function (finally!) for the Selection Dial.
- Group Sequence: 4 groups (A+B+C+D) and 2 groups (AB + CD), perfect for doing cut-out masks.

The TTL pass through bug is now fixed with the new firmware (version 1.0.158). Simply choose any Canon flash profile for a Canon flash and any Nikon flash profile for a Nikon flash. For other camera systems, choose MANUAL FLASH to work with the TTL passthrough mode. Another new feature is TTL passthrough status will be memorized when the V6 is switched off.

A new firmware (version 1.0.156) has just been released! Some key updates includes the much anticipated feature for Nikon speedlight users to unlock their flash mounted on the V6, improved Delay Timer settings, preserving existing Learned Profiles after firmware updates (you will still need to manually copy for this update), and a new configurable Work Range option for users who needs the RX very close to their camera / TX unit.
