Extra Battery Capacity for RF60X

Hi everyone,
Does anyone know if a power input cable (with moulded connector) is available for the RF60X?
I'd like the option to use a larger, external battery in some situations.
I know that there is an external battery holder (not sure of part number) but this only uses additional AA batteries. I was hoping to use a larger capacity 6v battery.

I look forward to any thoughts and advice anyone has - thanks !

  • I'm assuming that any external battery (e.g., from Godox) with a Canon-compatible plug for the flash should work with the RF60X.
  • Ah so does that mean that the power connector is industry standard?
I thought it would be a Cactus connector. If its standard then maybe leads are available.
    Anyone know....?

    Thanks everyone.
  • The plug design and pin assignment is definitely Canon-compatible.

Where I'm not 100% firm is voltage / current compatibility. I'm assuming you'd be fine but I guess it would be best to receive some confirmation.
  • Cactus RF60/RF60X uses the same plug type as Canon.

If the Godox PB960 fits your budget, get it with the power cord, and it will work on the RF60/RF60X.

    Thanks!
