@thomas1 Well, I am not sure. I had tried the Cactus V6IIS using the Shoe adapter ADP-AMA with the SONY SLT-A37. Everything worked flawlessly with both Cactus flashes: RF60 and RF60X. I guess that you are going to miss several features using the Cactus V6 (Original).
But like @lansa301 said, getting the V6 IIs would be even better, as it supports high-speed sync so you can shoot up to 1/4000s. At the moment your A35 x-sync speed is 1/160s.
