RF60X HSS and Fuji X-Pro2/X-T2
I know I had to update firmware to get my two v6 II's to handle HSS with my Nikon flash. I just got my new RF60x flash and when I attempt to shoot above the sync speed, it seems to be out of sync with when being triggered by my v6 II. The V6II has been configured for HSS with my Fuji camera.
I need to work with it a little more, but do you know if there are any firmware incompatibilities in doing HSS with version 001 on the flash and the Fuji X-Pro2/X-t2 cameras? Thanks. Mike

What do you mean by "version 001"? Always use the latest firmware version on the V6 II, currently it's version 1.1.006. Make sure to press the CHECK FOR LATEST FIRMWARE button, select 1.1.006, then click UPDATE.
Cheers.

I'm looking for an off-camera flash system for my Fujifilm X-T2. I'd like radio connectivity, HSS and TTL. The Cactus V6 II and RF60X look like a great combo that fill those needs. (I also still have a SB-700 and a SB-800 laying around.)
@Canticleer, let me chime in here, there's not radio (wireless) TTL support on the V6 II / RF60X. There's on-camera TTL pass through, but you will need a Fujifilm system flash, or on a Nikon camera.

I am having some serious inconsistencies with my RF60x's and the V6ii's on the Fuji XT2. I have tried absolutely everything I can think off and I am getting hit and miss all the time. All the firmware is up to date on both teh flashes and triggers. I have tried it on both my XT2 bodies, I have two V6ii's and 4 x RF60x's. I am not sure where to go from here it is very frustrating. Any advice please? I am doing the forced HSS, learning the Fuji sync, have teh flashes set to S, channels are correct the works. It works well then 5 shots I am getting the shutter, then one is perfect then two dont fire. Then works a few shots then I catch the shutter again.

• the "1/1000s" displayed on the V6 II is only an example to indicate that you need to set the camera shutter speed at above camera's x-sync speed.
So what I'm saying is if you are intending to take shots between 1/2000s to 1/4000s, try learning at 1/4000s. It may help. But as mentioned on other threads, shutter timings jumps all over the place on most if not all Fujifilm cameras. So it could be a hit or miss.
You should remove the spring plate. This will improve connectivity between camera and the V6 II.
A 15 seconds waiting time? Does the flash ready light not turn on? What type of batteries are you using? Would it make a difference with or without a V6 II?
X-TTL Firmware? We are still hoping to release it next month.
